About 9.5 million people live in Belarus. About 75% of indigenous Belarusians, 15% of Russians, 3% of Poles 2% of Ukrainians, 1% of Balts and 4% of other nationalities are represented in the country.
The capital and largest city of Belarus is Minsk. The population of Minsk is about 1.8 million people.
