Two Belarussian universities are on the 2019 Round University Ranking, one is excluded from the list.
Round University Ranking is a world university ranking, assessing effectiveness of the Higher education establishments across the globe. In 2019, the list features 820 universities from 74 countries. Four key dimensions are taken into account in the analysis: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability.
Belarussian State University ranks the highest among Belarussian higher education institutions and takes the 630th place. In 2017 it was the 666th (out of 764), and in 2018 — the 706 (out of 784). International diversity is the best BSU’s scoring component (357th place), the lowest index is in financial sustainability (734th place).
National Institute for Higher Education finished 741st. It became 56th financially sustainable, 355th internationally diverse, 730th in teaching, and 811th in research.
Belarussian State Medical University was not included on the list, although it was featured there in 2017 (772nd) and 2018 (745th).
According to the rating, the best universities in the world are Harvard University, California Institute of Technology, Imperial College London, Stanford, and Yale.
