A year ahead of plan Belarus High-Tech Park (HTP) exports boost by 38%.
An unprecedented export growth in 2018 by 38% (compared to 2017) has outperformed all the world-class auditors’ forecasts that predicted Belarus HTP to approach today’s $ 1 billion 414 million exports only by 2020.
“The figures exceeded all our expectations. Moreover, we’ve outperformed the predictions given by the leading agencies to a great extent. Obviously, the result is the direct effect of the fruitful decree adopted by the President of our county. We attribute this success not only to the Park itself but also to the whole country. Belarus indeed is transforming into one of the most powerful IT clusters in Eastern Europe. I’m a little bit superstitious as to assure the same level of growth in the future, but for now we can clearly see that we have all the ground to pursue with exports rise at a soaring speed” – said HTP’s CEO Vsevolod Yanchevsky.
High-Tech Park is rapidly growing both in its size and revenue creating more than 5.000 working places annually. The amount of developed and implemented IT solutions in 2018 is by 59% higher than in the previous year. The major customers of HTP products are EU countries and the United States (more than 90%).
