- engineering and pedagogical.
The most popular among the entrants are the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics, the Faculty of Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship.
In addition to the main faculties, there are also preparatory faculties for foreign citizens. According to the Belarusian legislation, a foreign citizen, who does not speak Russian, should study at this faculty for 9 months before entering the main course of study. Education is provided in Russian at the Faculty of International Cooperation.
After graduating from the preparatory faculty, students take exams. If the applicant shows high results, he will be enrolled in the 1st year of university.
A foreigner can enter any specialty, but only some of them are taught in English.
- Information Systems and Technologies
The course is oriented on training highly qualified programmers in the field of engineering, software production and operation on the basis of modern information technologies. We follow up-to-date development trends of visual systems for app production, production of network software technologies, web servers design and operation and maintenance of information security.
In the course of studies students learn the theory and methodology of object-oriented programming, local and distributed applications, software engineering, methods and systems of mathematical modeling of processes and devices, data management methods and means, engineering graphics, decision making methods and algorithms, etc.
- Automation of Technological Processes and Production
Automation comprises mechanical and electromechanical computerized production, development of hardware and software, development of adaptive and optimal algorithms, and design of distributed microprocessor control systems and local area networks. The curriculum of this specialty provides an in-depth study of electronics, microprocessor technology, local and global networks, databases, system and application software.
Graduates obtain the automation engineer qualification. The specialists are in high demand at every enterprise in any industry, including small and medium-sized businesses. Students interested in research can take up master's and PhD studies.
- Industrial and Civil Engineering
The main objective of training in this specialty is to prepare students for success within the professional practice of construction management. This preparation includes an understanding of the design, engineering, business and technical principles and practices used in the construction industry.
You will learn to apply mathematics and scientific knowledge to real-life situations and problems that arise from creating and maintaining structures, taking into account environmental, financial, legal and ethical considerations. Moreover, those who study civil engineering will get to develop their design skills, particularly computer-aided design.
Graduates can work as managers and engineers in construction organizations and companies engaged in maintenance, repair and reconstruction of industrial and civil facilities.
- Machine Building Technology
At undergraduate level, students will start with an introduction to key mechanical engineering topics, such as statics and dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, stress analysis, mechanical design and technical drawing. Subsequently, students get thorough knowledge in mechanical engineering technology, automation of technological process, computer-aided design of technological processes of material treatment and assembly.
The graduates are qualified as engineers. Engineers in this speciality are experts in material treatment and machine assembly. They are prepared to work as production engineers and heads of departments or workshops at industrial enterprises, research and development organizations, and scientific institutions.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Graduates obtain the qualification of mechanical engineer and a driving license. They get job assignments to service centers, technical services of automobile transportation and repair enterprises, shipping departments of factories and agricultural enterprises as well as to research and design organizations in the field of transport, and higher education and vocational training institutions.
- Biotechnical and Medical Apparatus and Systems
Training is focused on design of medical instruments, devices, and systems intended to replace lost organs, specialized therapeutic and rehabilitation training apparatus for people with special needs, and relevant manufacturing technologies.
