History of the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergencies

In 1933, on the basis of the fire brigade of the city of Minsk, a Fire - technical school was opened for training fire brigade command personnel. This is how the history of this institution began. In 1992, the institution received the status of a higher educational institution. In 2016, the university was created by merging the Command and Engineering Institute with other educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus - the Gomel Engineering Institute and the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Belarus, which carried out training in the same silt and related specialties.

The institution has a developed network of faculties: the Gomel branch, at the Education- Methodological Center - retraining personnel on the basis of their secondary higher education; Faculty of emergency management; Faculty of Distance Learning; faculty of management training; Faculty of Technosphere Safety, with qualification - fire and industrial safety engineer; Faculty of Scientific Personnel Training; and Engineering Faculty (Gomel); Faculty of Life Safety; Lyceum of the Ministry of Emergencies.

Admission to the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergencies

To enter the institute, you need to go through a special selection. These are three stages, which include the study of the moral and business qualities of the candidate, passing a special biography check, medical examination, passing professional psycho physiological selection; determination of the level of physical fitness of candidates in accordance with the standards and the procedure for performing exercises by the commissions of the completing bodies, created by the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. For professional selection, you must contact the emergency departments at your place of residence.

Education of foreign citizens at the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergencies

For admission of foreign citizens, it is necessary to provide the following documents: an application and the original document on education indicating the subjects studied and the marks (points) received on them - subject to the recognition of these documents in the prescribed manner in the Republic of Belarus; m -pocket medical report on the health status and certificate of absence of HIV - infection, issued by an official health authority of the country of which the second candidate arrived for training; original (copy) of the birth certificate; 6 photos. The listed documents, executed in a foreign language, are simultaneously accompanied by their translation into Belarusian or Russian, certified by a notary.
