History of the Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus

The Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus was founded in 1993. Throughout its history, the university has about 20 graduates of officers. This development and level of the institute received thanks to the great work of the teaching staff. Today, graduates guard the civilian population of the country on the State Borders and ensure national security.

Moreover, many graduates currently occupy high management positions in the territorial bodies of the border service.

Since 2012, the university has been training students not only to maintain security at the borders of our state, but also for foreign countries.

Students of the university annually take part in the parade dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus. Each of those present considers such participation their honor and pride.

Cadets are trained not only according to a unique theoretical program, but also pays great attention to sports training. Every year cadets take part in the Minsk half marathon, where they show decent results and prove the correctness of the choice of the university.

Students of the university are actively developing the scientific work of the institute. They are frequent participants in scientific webinars and lectures.

Faculties at the Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus

The university invites applicants to the following faculties:

• Faculty of advanced training and retraining;

• Faculty (officer training);

• Kaliningrad Border Institute of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

Admission to the Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus

Applicants must submit a report to the admissions office with the following instructions:

• military rank, surname, name, patronymic, date and place of birth, military position, military service, address of residence;

• the name of the desired educational institution with all the details;

• education, year of graduation and the name of the educational institution;

• availability of admission to state secrets (hereinafter - admission), its form, number and date of approval;

• documents on benefits.

Master's degree at the Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus

The university offers training at the second stage of higher education. Here, students are taught the skills and abilities of research work, and at the exit they are given a diploma with the assignment of a Master's degree.

Students are trained in the specialty - Border Security.

Postgraduate studies at the Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus

Postgraduate studies are the stage of postgraduate education. Her task is to prepare and defend a thesis for the degree of candidate of sciences. At the end of the training, the graduate is awarded a diploma with the award of the degree "Researcher".

The training of specialists is carried out for a period of 3 academic years in the full-time form, 4 academic years in the correspondence course, and 5 years in the form of competition.

The postgraduate course accepts students for the specialty Vocational education in the field of border security.
