1,652 dangerous products were banned in Belarus in 2021

Gosstandart banned the import and circulation of 1,652 items of dangerous products in Belarus in 2021, BELTA writes following a meeting on the work of state supervision inspections over the past year.

The control activity of Gosstandart in 2021 was aimed at ensuring compliance of products supplied to the domestic market with mandatory safety requirements and declared characteristics.

The meeting also discussed the need to pay close attention to the control of products sold on the Internet, construction materials, certification processes and testing laboratories.
