836 settlements were affected during the stormy winds on January 14 in Belarus

The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified the data on the affected settlements due to the strong wind that was observed in Belarus on January 14, writes the Minsk-News agency.

Throughout Belarus on January 14, the wind reached 32 m/s. In 84 districts of the country there were affected 836 settlements. In Minsk region — it was 301 settlements, in Mogilev region — 72, in Grodno region — 41, in Gomel region — 21, in Brest region — 59. The least was in the Vitebsk region — in total 41 settlements were affected.

All over the country were damaged the roofs of 551 residential buildings (184 of them were restored). In addition, 101 social and cultural facilities were damaged (13 of them were restored), 19 industrial and 1234 agricultural buildings (12 of them were restored).
