A city rail will be built in Minsk

It is planned to build a city rail in Minsk. This was announced on June 25 by Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak, minsknews.by reports.

The city rail will appear as an alternative to the regular tram.

The Deputy Prime Minister explained that the ring metro line, which is in the general plan, will be implemented in the capital - and it will be on the surface, as it is done in many European countries.

Sivak said, that he is ready to join this work himself, he has the appropriate calculations and documentary materials, there is an understanding of how they can be adapted.
