A letter in a bottle from a Minsk boy was found in Ireland

Residents of Belfast (Ireland) during a walk along the sea found a letter in a bottle. As it turned out, in three years it sailed 5,000 kilometers and landed just at the beach where an elderly couple was walking, writes Citydog — the magazine about Minsk, by with reference to Donegal Daily.

Rita Simmonds and Kieran Maron found a bottle containing a letter and two dollars. It turned out that the message was written by 11-year-old Sasha and thrown into the ocean in the american Ocean City, Maryland.

Rita and Kiran contacted Sasha's father. Now they hope to contact Sasha via video call.
