A month of clean up in Minsk will begin in March

The traditional spring month of cleaning, landscaping and planting of Minsk may begin earlier than usual, writes the website of the Minsk City Executive Committee with reference to the Minsk-News agency.

Usually cleaning work after winter in Minsk begins in April. If the weather remains abnormally warm for February, this time the cleaning will begin in March. 

Housing and utilities enterprises will need to pay special attention to restoring order in attics and basements of residential buildings. All of them must be completely cleared of combustible debris and other unnecessary items. It is also necessary to examine the territory after snow melted.  Special attention will need to be paid to the sections adjacent to the railway.
