A new building opened at the Belarusian State University

The grand opening of the academic building took place on September 1, the press service of the university reported. The academic building was built with the support of the state investment program and financial resources of the university.

The Center for International Education will be operating in the new building. Ecologists, as well as foreign students of the philological and economic faculties will study here. It is these two faculties in BSU that are the leaders in the number of foreigners. Last year, more than 4,600 foreign citizens studied at the university. Of these, 495 are at the Faculty of Philology and 651 are at the Faculty of Economics.

Master's student Wen Huan of the Faculty of Economics spoke on behalf of the students. She thanked the leading Belarusian university for high-quality education and attentive attitude to foreign students, and also wished the university further prosperity.

The new academic building has seven floors and is located in Minsk at the address: vulica DaŭHabrodskaja 20. Its area is 16 thousand square meters, where 20 classrooms, computer classes, an assembly hall, a library, and a dining room are located.
