A new football field will open in Orsha during 2023

A full-size football field with artificial turf will be opened in Orsha during 2023, BelTA reported. Let us remind you that the Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko made the top five of the WTA ranking.

Work on the facility started in September 2021, but due to weather conditions they had to be suspended and resumed only this spring.

The first stage of work, including the preparation of the base cushion and the laying of the coating, has almost completed. At the second stage, fences, field lighting, road, premises, and a podium will be installed.

It is assumed that the second stage of work will begin and be completed in 2023. More than 1.3 million Belarusian rubles will be allocated from the district budget for both stages of work in the complex.

Nearby, they plan to equip two more small fields with a natural covering of 20x40 and 30x60 sizes. Several groups or teams will be able to train at once.
