A new taxi service is launched in Minsk

The new taxi service «Bolt» will start operating in Minsk on December 23, relax.by reports. Bolt is a European platform providing transportation services in over 200 cities in 40 countries.

While the taxi service will operate in test mode in Belarus, the company's management has decided to refuse the commission. Consequently, passengers will pay less and drivers will be able to earn more. Test work is planned to be carried out within six months. In many ways, the success of the test period will depend on the epidemiological situation in the country.

In order to use the taxi services, users will need to download a mobile application and register in it. The Bolt app is available for iOS and Android mobile systems. After completing check-in, the passenger can book a trip by specifying the destination and having received preliminary confirmation from the driver.

The cost of the trip will be displayed on the screen at the time of ordering. The standard rate will be 25 kopecks per kilometer and 8 kopecks per minute. The minimum cost of the trip is 3 rubles.

While the application is running in test mode, users will not be able to link a bank card. However, in the car itself it will be possible to pay for the trip both in cash and by credit card.
