A single travel card for all types of transport will appear in Belarus

The Minsk City Executive Committee is working on the introduction of a single travel card for all types of ground transport and metro, the Citydog.by magazine about Minsk writes with reference to the telegram channel Minsk Official. Официально».

Such a project is planned in the future, as its implementation will take several years. Belarus also plans to completely switch to electric transport: trolleybuses, including those with autonomous running, electric buses, metro, trams.

Minsk wants to optimize the route network and introduce end-to-end numbering of public transport. Thanks to this, there will be no different types of transport under the same number. One type of ground transport will travel along one route. In the future, it is possible to switch to a single color of such transport.
