Belarus plans to replace the passport with the smartphone, this technology is already being tested, reports ej.by.

The development is carried out by a Russian company. With the software, mobile devices can easily replace your ID card, driver's license,or military ID.

The new program will make it possible to abandon paper and plastic documents, replacing them with a smartphone.

Project Manager HostFly.by Alexander Khmyl said that new technologies and developers are purposefully involved in Belarus. If the project is successfully implemented, you can show your ID card directly from the screen of any gadget.

Controlling services and agencies will have at their disposal a special program that reads documents and identifies their authenticity. According to the developers, it will be impossible to forge documents or distort the information reflected in them.
