A startup from Grodno which helps try on wallpaper, raised €1 million
In January, the AR-startup Wizart with founders and a team from Grodno, Belarus, completed the seed round and raised € 1.1 million from The Untitled Ventures and other venture funds, dev.by writes.
Wizart has developed a plug-in using AR and computer vision, which helps customers of DIY online stores choose finishing materials for walls and floors. A client uploads a photo of their interior and tries on the selected wallpaper.
The Wizart prototype appeared in April 2018. Now the company has 33 workers. The main part of the team is located in Grodno, four people — in Poland, one — in London. The company became an HTP resident in 2018.
Now Wizart has about 100 clients all over the world: manufacturers of finishing materials, marketplaces, chain retailers, boutique brands. Of them, 65% are in the USA and Canada.
