A1 earned €420 million in Belarus

The Austrian A1 Group has published financial statements for the 4th quarter of 2021. The Belarusian division of the company — provider A1 — received almost €419.6 million in revenue last year. This is 4.2% more than in 2020, writes dev.by. Revenue in Belarusian rubles increased by 12.4%, exceeding BYN1.2 billion. This is a record for the last few years.

The A1 division in Belarus received 8.8% of the group's total revenue. In terms of revenue, A1 remained in 4th place among A1 Telekom Austria Group companies. The total revenue of the A1 Group of companies increased by 4.4% compared to 2020 and amounted to €4.7 billion — more than in 2020.

In 2021, mobile communication services brought the Belarusian provider €242.3 million. Revenue from fixed-line services increased by almost 14% to €51.8 million. For the fourth quarter of 2021, revenue increased by 28% compared to the same quarter of 2020. Revenues increased due to the growth of mobile phone sales, tariff changes and positive dynamics of exchange rates.
