A1 mobile operator improves the quality of communication in rural areas

A1 has started using RAN Sharing technology for the first time, which will help to improve the quality of the network in remote settlements as quickly as possible without building new base stations, BelTA reported.

Using RAN Sharing, several operators can share network infrastructure with each other, including base stations. This makes it possible to significantly accelerate the deployment of mobile communication networks and improve the quality of coverage.

By using RAN Sharing A1, increase the pace of launching new base stations by half. This allows for secure signal reception and access to high-speed mobile Internet in sparsely populated areas and rural areas.

Recently, the Belarusian HTP has developed an emergency call management system.
