About 1 million doses of Chinese vaccine will be delivered to Belarus

The Ministry of Health of Belarus has agreed to supply 1 million doses of Chinese coronavirus vaccine, minsknews.by reports.

By the end of August, about 1 million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine will be delivered to Belarus.

For six months, China has sent 400 thousand doses of the vaccine Sinopharm, which is registered in many countries of the world and is listed as highly effective, to Belarus free of charge.

Negotiations are currently underway with three Chinese companies that produce vaccines. "We hope that a decision will also be made in the near future on the production of a vaccine jointly with China on the territory of the Republic of Belarus" - said Belarusian Ambassador to China Yuri Senko.
