About 300 companies are working on import substitution in Belarus

The Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange said that about 300 companies from Central Asia and the Far East are currently working in the import substitution project, BelTA reported. We remind you that the prices for the export of Belarusian dairy products to Russia have been reduced.

The import substitution platform on the commodity exchange has been functioning for three months. It attracts clients from Russia and other countries. Companies from China and CIS countries are showing increased interest in it.

According to the chairman, there are about a hundred responses to one request. There are also applications with about 600 offers from various CIS countries.

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange has been operating since 2004. Its main function is to assist Belarusian enterprises in exporting products and to help foreign companies enter the Belarusian market.
