About 600 charging stations for electric cars will be launched in Belarus by the end of 2021

“Belorusneft” plans to increase the number of charging stations for electric cars to 600 in 2021belta.by reports.

There are about 450 electric charging stations operating in Minsk today. There are both free-standing and complexes of six stations.

– There are fast stations (direct current charging) and slow ones (alternating current), - explained Andrey Khmelevskoy, software engineer of the charging infrastructure operation department at “Belorusneft”. - The last objects are used by owners of electric cars for night charging. For example, near the house, the owner left the car for charging, and in the morning turned off the power and went to work. Now the priority is given to the development of fast electric charging stations, so that every user can charge an electric car without queues" - he noted.
