Academy of Sciences will release a collection of Belarusian folk tales

The National Academy of Sciences is planning to create and release a collection of Belarusian folk tales, Minsk-News reported.

Now Belarusian folklore is poorly represented in popular culture. At the same time, it is an integral part of the historical heritage of the Belarusian society.

So far, about 580 plots of Belarusian folk tales are known. The Academy of Sciences announced that "the work on of the collection should be started as soon as possible."
