An inclusive beach will be opened on the Minsk Sea

Soon the first inclusive beach will be opened on the Minsk Sea, reports tut.by. The sponsorship of the beach was provided by the Social Weekend project.

An inclusive beach, prepared for people with disabilities, will be located near the Zaslavsky reservoir - this is an ideal place, thanks to the low-pitched descent to the water and the sanatorium nearby. The beach will be convenient not only for the disabled, but also for young mothers with children, as well as older people. The beach is equipped with everything necessary for wheelchairs: wooden paths and special cabins for changing clothes. In addition, a pier and a platform for fitness and active sports will be installed on the beach.

The idea to create an inclusive beach on the Minsk Sea appeared in 2019. And in 2020, Social Weekend allocated 5 thousand Belarusian rubles for the re-equipment of the beach.

The beach will be open for visitors this summer. Public transport will be organized.
