The exposition "Yu. Peng, J. Kruger. Art Schools of Belarus" will present artists not only as teachers, but also as outstanding masters of the early 20th century. Peng, the teacher of Marc Chagall, is shown through his genre compositions and female portraits, many of which are presented in Moscow.

Kruger, Chaim Soutine's teacher, is presented as a realist whose works were partially lost during the war. The exhibition includes works by their students such as Chagall and Osip Zadkin, highlighting the influence of the masters on the Belarusian art school. After Minsk, the exhibition will move to Vitebsk and become part of the Slavyansky Bazaar.
