Annual inflation in Belarus in June amounted to 2.9%
Prices for goods and services in June increased by 0.3% compared to May, Sputnik reported. Compared to June 2022, the price increase was 2.9%.
According to official data, food products in June became more expensive by 0.2% compared to May. Non-food products on average did not rise in price, but the cost of services for the month increased by 0.9%.
Earlier, the head of the National Bank predicted that prices would rise by 7-8% over the year in the absence of shocking events for the economy.
