Another main bike path is planned to be built in Minsk

It is planned to build another main bike path in Minsk by 2025. It will be located along the Slepyanskaya water system, belta.by reports.

"It is planned to build a main bike path along the Slepyanskaya water system "EuroVelo-2" in 2022-25. These are Filimonova, Kedyshko, Sedykh, Karbysheva streets with a length of 2.5 km" - said Vladimir Latushkin, Deputy General Director of the State Enterprise "Gorremavtodor of the Minsk City Executive Committee".

The construction is provided for by the strategic plan for ensuring the development of cycling until 2025. The understatement of sidewalks and the adaptation of the road network for bicycles, the development of intra-district bicycle connections will continue.

Vladimir Latushkin also said that this year, 13.5 thousand square meters of sidewalks were repaired to adapt to moving on two-wheeled transport.
