Approximately 80% of trade transactions between Belarus and Russia are in rubles

More than 80% of trade deals between Belarus and Russia are concluded in Russian and Belarusian ones, BelTA reported.

According to the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the governments of the two countries continue to work on the issue of the fullest possible transition to rubles in settlements between the countries.

In addition, Belarus and Russia will continue to cooperate in the implementation of 28 joint programs that were approved in November 2021.

The other day, the parties agreed on the prices of Russian gas and oil that Belarus will purchase in the next three years.
