Areas of cooperation between Belarus and Cuba

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko outlined prospects for cooperation during talks with the Prime Minister of Cuba, BelTA reported.

For 9 months of this year, the trade turnover between the countries has more than tripled.

Belarusian equipment for various purposes (cargo, agricultural, passenger) is in demand in Cuba. In addition, the export of Belarusian food to Cuba has increased, and supplies from Cuba to Belarus have also increased significantly.

Cuba is widely known for an effective healthcare system, so expanding cooperation in the field of medicine is an important priority.

Mutual supplies of goods that are not available in both countries, for example, from Russia, are also being discussed.
