Arina Sobolenko at the top of the WTA

Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko holds the first place in the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) for the second week in a row, Sputnik informs.

This success is confirmed by updated data on the official website of the organization. Sobolenko not only retained the lead, but also significantly outpaced Polish tennis player Iga Sventek, scoring 9016 points against 7970 from her closest pursuer.  

For Sobolenko, this is the second title of the first racket of the world: for the first time she took the first place in September 2023, rising from second place.
