Arina Sobolenko in the final of the WTA-1000 tournament in Madrid

In the semi-finals of the WTA-1000 tournament in Madrid, Arina Sobolenko defeated an experienced tennis player from Kazakhstan, Elena Rybakina, BelTA shares.

Sobolenko showed resilience and took revenge after losing the first set and ending the match in her favor.

Her opponent in the final will be the leader of the WTA world ranking, Polish tennis player Iga Sventek, who also demonstrated an impressive game by defeating Madison Keys.

At the previous Madrid tournament, Sobolenko also defeated Sventek.

The final of the prestigious tournament on the clay courts of Madrid is expected on May 5.
