Arina Sobolenko won the Australian Open title for the second time in a row

Arina Sobolenko became the Australian Open champion for the second year in a row, defeating Chinese Zheng Qinwen in the final, Sputnik reports.

The match ended with a score of 6:3, 6:2 in favor of the Belarusian tennis player and lasted 1 hour 17 minutes. This is Sobolenko's second Grand Slam title. She holds the second place in the world ranking and demonstrates outstanding results in her career.

The Australian Open tournament was held in Melbourne from January 14 to 27, and its prize fund was more than $ 58 million. Sobolenko's victory earned her $2.1 million.
