Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the second round of US Open

The total prize fund of the tennis tournament US Open 2023 will be a record amount 65 million US dollars. Belarusian athlete and world number two Arina Sobolenko has successfully passed the first round of the main draw of the US Open, Sputnik reported.

In the first round of the final Grand Slam tournament, Aryna Sabalenka beat Belgian Marina Zanevskaya.

In the second round, Sabalenka's opponent was British athlete Jodi Burrage.

Let us remind you that six Belarusian tennis players are participating in the US Open 2023.

Belarusian athletes were also allowed to participate in international badminton tournaments.
