The aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus is involved in the elimination of a large fire in the area of Marmaris in Turkey. There are two helicopters of Belarusian rescuers in this country, minsknews.by reports.

The fight against large-scale forest fires continues in Turkey. Fires were recorded in more than 20 provinces. Aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus helps to eliminate a fire near the resort town of Marmaris. The day before, the Mi-8 crew performed three flights and performed 51 water drains.

The second Belarusian Mi-8 is located in another part of Turkey, the crew of which is also ready to perform tasks and, if a corresponding request is received from the local authorities, will fly to this or another fire’s point.
