Azarenko and Sobolenko won in doubles at the tournament in Berlin

Belarusian tennis players Victoria Azarenko and Arina Sobolenko won the doubles tournament of the WTA-500 category in Berlin with a prize fund of 565.5 thousand dollars, belta.by reports.

The decisive match was held on the afternoon of June 20. The Belarusians played against the American-Dutch tandem of Nicole Melichar/Demi Schurs. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 22 minutes and ended with a score 4:6, 7:5, 10:04.

This is the first joint title of the best tennis players of Belarus! Azarenka and Sobolenko played together for the first time in two years. Now this tandem is preparing for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
