Baga became the head of the Shakhter Soligorsk

Alexey Baga became the head of the Soligorsk football club "Shakhter" after the dismissal of Sergei Gurenkosputnik.by reports.

Alexey Baga is a pupil of the Minsk "Smena". He made his professional football debut in 1998 with BATE, for which he played until the end of 2006. In 2007, he became a player of the Latvian "Daugava". From 2008 to 2010, he played for Dinamo Brest.

He was the captain of the Belarusian youth national team at Euro 2004.

He started his coaching career in 2011 as a member of the BATE coaching staff. In 2018, he took over the team as the head coach. In 2020, he worked as the head coach of  "Zalgiris". In 2021, he headed the Kazakh "Aktobe".

Achievements as a head coach: champion of Belarus (2018), champion of Lithuania (2020).

Valery Tarasenko will help Baga at Shakhter as a senior coach.
