Baltic states will not close the border with Belarus

Today, on August 28, a meeting of the Interior Ministers of Poland and the Baltic states took place. At the meeting, it was decided not to close the border with Belarus yet, "Sobiray rukzak" reported.

Representatives of the countries agreed on a coordinated response to close the border in case of "critical incidents". These included armed incidents and any other situations on the border that could threaten the national security.

The second prerequisite for the closure of borders is the mass illegal movement of migrants.

If any of the above happens at the border, countries should exchange information at the service level, and then make a decision at the intergovernmental level.
