Belarus and Hungary to develop cooperation in nuclear energy
The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary visited the city of Paks, where the Hungarian Paks NPP is located, BELTA writes.
The diplomat held talks with the management of the NPP, and also got acquainted with the work of the nuclear power plant, safety systems, visited the site allocated for the construction of the new Paksh-2 NPP.
The Ambassador also met with Minister Janos Shuli, who is responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of two new blocks. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in the development of Belarusian-Hungarian cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, including the exchange of experience between Belarusian and Hungarian specialists in the field of NPP operation and nuclear waste disposal.
Signing of new bilateral documents was also discussed.
