Belarus and Indonesia: Agreement on Halal certificates

On October 10, an agreement on mutual recognition of Halal certificates was signed in Jakarta between BelHalal and the Quality Assurance Agency (BPJPH), BelTA writes.

The Ambassador of Belarus to Indonesia, Roman Romanovsky attended the ceremony.

As part of the agreement, halal certificates issued by BelHalal for food products such as meat, fish, dairy products and confectionery products will be recognized in Indonesia.

It also provides for a possible expansion of the range of products, for example, cosmetics and detergents.
