Belarus and Iran to cooperate in food safety

Belarus and Iran intend to cooperate in the field of food safety and the development of biopesticides, BELTA reports following the results of the Iran Agrofood exhibition. We already told about agricultural products and technologies, which were presented by Belarusian scientists at the exhibition. 

During the exhibition, the Belarusian and Iranian sides signed 25 documents in the field of science and education. They record agreements with Iranian research centers and educational institutions on joint scientific research and training of highly qualified personnel.

The documents also indicate intentions for cooperation in the field of food safety, in the distribution of veterinary drugs, the development of biopesticides, the sale of biological drugs and the creation of a biotechnology management center.
