Belarus and Kazakhstan discuss restoration of regular flights between the countries

Transport Minister Alexey Avramenko discussed with the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov the possibility of restoring flights between the two countries in the near futurebelta.by reports.

The parties discussed the restoration of regular flights between Belarus and Kazakhstan to the pre-pandemic level.

According to Atamkulov, instructions have already been given to open four flights on the Minsk — Almaty route. Avramenko expressed the readiness of the Belarusian side to operate flights by the airlines of both countries on a parity basis.

Cooperation in the field of road transport was discussed at the meeting. The head of the transport department of Belarus proposed to consider the possibility of increasing the quota of Kazakhstani permits to / from third countries.

In addition, the heads of departments touched upon the development of digital transport corridors. The parties confirmed their readiness to cooperate in many areas.
