Belarus and Kazakhstan will increase the number of flights between the countries
Belarus and Kazakhstan have agreed to increase the number of flights between the two countries, minsknews.by reports.
A delegation of the Ministry of Transport of Belarus headed by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Sergey Dubina visited Kazakhstan. At the joint meeting, current issues of cooperation between the two states in the field of road, rail and air transport were discussed.
As a result, the number of flights between Minsk and Nursultan will increase from four to seven. Also, the planes will fly four times between the Belarusian capital and the city of Almaty. Air traffic between Minsk and Kostanay will operate with a frequency of twice a week.
In addition, representatives of the two transport departments noted the positive dynamics in the development of cargo transportation by rail in the Belarus–Kazakhstan connection.
