Belarus and Russia continue to cooperate in space
Belarus and Russia are developing strategic cooperation in the field of space. Seven joint programs have already been implemented, BelTA reported. Let us remind you that a Belarusian cosmonaut will fly to the ISS as part of the Russian team in the autumn of 2023.
The VIII Belarusian Space Congress is currently taking place. The Chai of the State Committee for Science and Technology said that Belarus continues to work closely with Russia in the space industry. Seven scientific and technical programs have been jointly implemented, and a new one is starting now.
Belarus produces high-precision optoelectronic equipment, microprocessor technology, integrated circuits, test equipment. Belarusian universities also train specialists for the aerospace industry.
The congress will also include more than 120 presentations by scientists and specialists from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Uzbekistan.
