Belarus and Russia have agreed to complete the pilot operation of communication channels in the conditions of reducing the rates of interconnect for roaming traffic in the territory of the Union State, minsknews.by reports.
On August 9, a meeting of the high-level group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State was held, which was held by Belarusian Ambassador Vladimir Semashko. At the meeting, the parties agreed to reduce roaming rates.
As a result, reduced rates for roaming subscribers of the two countries will be applied on a permanent basis from September 1.
It is expected that from January 1, 2022, roaming between Russia and Belarus will be completely canceled.
