Belarus and Russia to sign agreements on recognition of bank guarantees

Belarus and Russia will prepare a draft agreement on mutual recognition of bank guarantees, BELTA writes following a meeting of the High-level Group under the Council of Ministers of the Union State.

The issue of mutual recognition of bank guarantees in the implementation of public procurement was discussed at the meeting. It was proposed to draw up a pilot project on the participation of Belarusian banks in the public procurement process in Russia. The relevant ministries of the two countries were instructed to finalize the draft intergovernmental agreement on mutual recognition of bank guarantees by June 1, 2022.
