Belarus and Russia will cooperate in customs sphere

The President of Belarus has approved the draft agreement between Belarus and Russia on the harmonization of customs law and cooperation in the customs sphere, pravo.by writes.

The preparation of an international agreement in the field of customs cooperation is provided for in the development plan of the Union State for 2021-2023.

The countries will cooperate in the following areas: informational interaction, joint customs control and categorization of persons performing customs operations. An Interstate Center will also be created to coordinate the work on risk management, as well as the implementation of analytical functions and monitoring of customs operations.
