Belarus and Sri Lanka Plan Direct Air Connectivity

In New York, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov met with his Sri Lankan counterpart, Wijitha Herath, according to BelTA.

The ministers highlighted the positive dynamics of bilateral relations and discussed prospects for cooperation in trade, economy, and education.

Tourism was a key focus: the countries are preparing to sign an air services agreement, which will boost passenger and cargo traffic between Belarus and Sri Lanka.

The sides also confirmed plans for further political consultations and exchanged invitations for mutual visits.
