Belarus and the UAE will expand contacts in the sports field

A working meeting with representatives of the Abu Dhabi sports Council was held in Minsk, reports belta.by.

The event was attended by representatives of the Presidential sports club, which plays a key role in building sports cooperation between Belarus and the UAE.

The meeting participants discussed joint projects, noting that the high level of trust between the leaders of Belarus and the UAE forms a good Foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of sports, this is one of the key areas of interaction between the two countries. 

Representatives of the UAE expressed interest in further expanding contacts in the sports field, in particular basketball. Agreements were reached on holding joint training camps and master classes for athletes of the two countries, seminars for coaches and judges. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint programs for the development of women's sports.
