Belarus and Uzbekistan signed several agreements and memoranda

Belarus and Uzbekistan have signed a number of agreements and memoranda during the visit of the Belarusian government delegation headed by Prime Minister to Tashkent, BELTA writes.

BELTA also reports that Belarus will increase the supply of meat and dairy products to Uzbekistan. In addition, the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry will produce new antibiotics in Uzbekistan in order to increase exports, BELTA writes.

Belarus has already taken a stable position in the food market of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan accounts for about 82% of Belarus' meat imports. In 2021, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $301.9 million and increased by 7.8% compared to 2020. Over the past few years, the trade turnover has increased almost 5 times, BELTA reports.
