Belarus and Uzbekistan will increase supplies of raw materials

Belarus and Uzbekistan discussed increasing mutual supplies and removing trade barriers, BelTA reported. Last week Belarus also held talks on cooperation with Palestine and Brazil.

The management of Belgospischeprom met with the adviser on trade and economic issues of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belarus. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, increasing mutual supplies of raw materials and finished products in the current foreign trade conditions, removing trade barriers and other topical issues.

The Uzbek side expressed interest in purchasing fat and oil products, sugar, confectionery and brewing malt. The participants of the meeting also discussed the import of dried fruits, nuts and wine materials to Belarus.
